Whether it is the Houston Food Bank, Kids Meals, or TarryTown Estates, we always believe in developing relationships with the community. Thus, we are so thrilled to reintroduce a familiar partner from last year: the Friends of HPL! Here, we will be supporting the Houston Public Library’s yearly book sale; more specifically, we will organize books and prepare the location for the HPL book sale. We at the Initiative are incredibly excited to present our next event: Tarry Towne! At Tarry Towne, we will be working with elderly folks through cleaning, companionship and other essential services as we lend a helping hand for those who have lived life to its fullest. We hope to see you soon!

Today, we helped the community by sorting food, repacking dry food into family-sized bags and stocking the Portwall Pantry, a pantry run by the HFB which helps working families in need. Thank you so much for coming! We hope to see you soon!
